4-side letter dated 1894, informing Rav Elyashar of Rav Donner’s appointment as Rabbi of Kolbel and asking for his prayers and blessings, listing the names of family members, and asking for his approbation to his latest work. 


Rabbi Nathan Nata Donner (1860-1926), disciple of Rabbi Yehuda Leibish Licht of Prszedworz and Rabbi Chaim Elazar Waks of Kalish. Rabbi of Radoschitz (1884) and Kolbel (1894). Renowned for his collation and publication of the teachings of noted chassidic leaders, in works including Mayim Rabim (the Maggid of Zlotshov), Menoras Zahav (Rebbe Reb Zusia of Anopol) and Rishpei Eish (the Rebbe of Neshchiz).

Rabbi Yaakov Shaul Elyashar (1817-1906), appointed Dayan in Yerushalayim in 1853, Av Beth Din in 1869 and Rishon Letzion (Sefardi Chief Rabbi) in 1893. Author of Yisa Beracha and other rabbinical works.
