(1782 - 1862) Eighth President of the United States, Secretary of State and a close ally of Andrew Jackson. Folded octavo cover addressed and franked by van Buren: 'Free M. van Buren', sent to 'Mr. Parker Canadaigua [N.Y.]. With remnants of van Buren's red wax seal still attached. Very good.
